Who Wants To Be a Millionaire is a hit TV show that was first launched in 1998 and has since enjoyed success all around the world.
Its popularity means that it’s crossed into the digital world, and there are now lots of different casino games with this theme.
Roulette is one of the staples of casinos, both land casinos and online. A very traditional game that’s been around for centuries, roulette has evolved, and there are now many different versions available.
Live dealer roulette has been a hit with online casino players, bringing an authentic casino atmosphere to online play.
Who Wants To Be a Millionaire Roulette Live is the latest live dealer roulette game to join the pack – here’s how to play.
Game Symbols
Who Wants To Be a Millionaire Roulette is played on a European roulette wheel, which means just a single green zero pocket and red/black numbers from 1 to 36.
The basic game plays just like any other version of roulette; you place your bets and try to predict what the winning number will be. If you guess correctly, you’ll receive a prize payout.
While the wheel is spinning up to five special Millionaire Numbers will be selected; these relate to the bonus (but more about that below).
You can choose how much you want to bet on each spin of the wheel and also what type of bet to place. Not all bets are eligible for the bonus round, so you’ll need to factor this in when planning your strategy.
Outside bets such as high/low, red/black, dozen/column and odd/even are easier to win but have a lower payout, and they’re not included in the bonus play.

Bonus Features and Jackpots
If you place a straight-up, line, corner, split or street bet, you are eligible to play for the bonus round. This will be triggered if you predict the winning number and it’s selected as one of the special Millionaire numbers.
This concept is similar to other types of roulette, such as Lightning Roulette, but this bonus has a strong Who Wants To Be a Millionaire theme. You’ll receive one of three potential bonus rounds identified by the following symbols: x100, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire logo and a question mark.
The x100 symbol pays you out a prize of x100 with no need for any further play.
The Who Wants To Be a Millionaire logo enters you into a bonus round of the quiz game. There are two different levels: bronze which gives you eight questions, and gold, which gives you ten questions.
The question mark provides you with the option of either accepting a x50 prize instantly or playing the Who Wants To Be a Millionaire bonus round for up to x150. Alternatively, you could also be offered a x100 instant prize or the chance to play Who Wants To Be a Millionaire bonus round for up to x300.
If you go on to play the bonus, the “questions” won’t be testing your general knowledge. You choose A, B, C or D just like in the quiz show, but instead of answers, these will reveal multipliers which you’ll get to keep.
There are lifelines and X symbols which will send you crashing out – but if you keep going, you could collect a potential payout of up to x2000.
